Custom tiles made in Tasmania
Handcrafted tiles and furniture tell a story, and no two are ever the same. from kitchen splashbacks and bathroom features, to striking walls and bespoke coffee tables, I work with natural materials and local resources to create something uniquely yours. I also collaborate with talented furniture designers and makers to create cohesive pieces that seamlessly blend with your space and vision.
Each tile is shaped by hand, glazed with intention, and made right here in Hobart, blending functionality with raw, tactile beauty.
-
Every project begins with a conversation, where we discuss your space, style, and vision. I then experiment with shapes, textures, and glazes, often incorporating locally sourced materials that capture the natural beauty of Hobart and Tasmania. Once the design is finalised, I handcraft each tile in my studio. While the process takes time, handmade tiles offer a depth and character that you won’t find anywhere else.
-
I use reclaimed and locally collected materials like hospitality waste, construction offcuts, and igneous rocks and sandstone. These materials not only reduce environmental impact but also infuse each tile with a connection to Tasmania’s landscape and history.
-
Crafting handmade tiles takes time. Depending on the project’s size and complexity, most custom tile orders take 6–12 weeks. If you have a shorter timeline let me know, and I’ll do my best to accommodate it.
-
Custom tiles are both beautiful and durable. Fired at high temperatures, they’re built to last. Caring for them is simple — just wipe them with a soft cloth and mild cleaner.

Because each project is bespoke, pricing varies depending on size, materials, and design complexity. After we discuss your project, I’ll provide a detailed quote and timeline.
